Today was my first day as a remote graphic design intern for the Aspen Policy Academy, and I couldn't be more excited! I had a few orientation meetings, where I learned about the academy’s mission, its goals, and what my role will be as a graphic designer.
The Aspen Policy Academy is dedicated to developing future leaders in public policy by providing hands-on learning experiences, mentorship, and networking opportunities. Their goal is to equip young professionals with the skills and knowledge they need to drive meaningful policy change, particularly in areas like economic development, environmental sustainability, and social equity.
As a graphic design intern, I will be working on visual content for their social media platforms, helping to enhance engagement and communicate key policy ideas in an accessible and compelling way. I’ll also be assisting with branding and marketing materials to ensure a cohesive and professional presence across all platforms.
After just one day, I can already tell this will be an incredible learning experience. I can’t wait to dive in and contribute to the academy’s mission!
